For awhile now, I’ve gone back and forth about starting my blogging journey. I felt that much of my writing was too personal, and it wasn’t worth reading. I was dwelling in my doubts, letting my insecurities reign over my common sense. Stemming from the all too common childhood “daddy issues,” I was the only thing holding me back from reaching my potential. And it wasn’t until I was two months into soul searching that I finally took this leap.
Its Summer ’16. The time for complacency is over. After reading countless blog posts from my peers, creatives and my sister, I decided it was time to step out of my comfort zone. This summer I made an effort to focus on myself and be fearlessly self-supporting. Now that it’s coming to an end, I can’t wait to spread love and share my experiences as I continue to unfold.
